The FoxBox internal QUAD Band modem can work with all countries mobile phone networks.
By default Foxbox comes configure with Europeean  band selection, for US and Japan you have to launch only the first time during the installation the command AT#BND=3 so that the  850Mhz and 1900Mhz is selected.
To launch the command connect to the web interface of the FoxBox and select from the right menu Control Panel. Click on Modem link available into the page and type the AT#BND=3 command inside the field. After that confirm the operation clicking on Launch command.
The operation can take up to 5 minutes and after that your foxbox will bw ready to send and receive SMS and receive MMS.

Band selection for USA

For other countries I report the full syntax of the command, so that you can select the correct bandwith range from the list by typing AT#BND=<band selection>
AT#BND
[=<band>] Set command sets the band to the <band> value.
Parameter
<band>: 
  0 - GSM 900MHz + DCS 1800MHz 
  1 - GSM 900MHz + PCS 1900MHz 
  2 - GMS 850MHz + PCS 1800MHz (available only on quadri-band
modules)
  3 - GMS 850MHz + PCS 1900MHz (available only on quadri-band
modules)
 
Note: This setting is maintained even after power off.
 
Note: If parameter is omitted then the behaviour of Set command is
the same as Read command
